Askerbek Omarkhanuly Kaiyrkhanov was born in 1970 in the village of Kindikti, Aksuat district, Semipalatinsk region. There are fourteen children in the family: six boys and eight girls. His older brothers and sisters have different professions. They all play the dombra and sing. His father, Omarkhan Kaiyrkhanuly, was born in 1924, and his mother, Bizhamal Ziyadakizy, was born in 1936. He was also gifted with art.
In 1977, he graduated from F. Muratbayev secondary school. In 1988, he was drafted into the army and returned to the country in 1992. In 1992, he entered the acting studio opened at the Abai Musical Drama Theater, and in 1994 he graduated with the specialty "artist".
From 1994 to 1999, he worked as an actor at the Abai Musical Drama Theater. He also studied at the International Engineering and Pedagogical University in absentia and received a bachelor's degree. He graduated from the directing department of the Altai State Institute of Arts in Barnaul in absentia.
After Ust-Kamenogorsk became the regional center in 2000, he was one of the specialists who went there on behalf of the Head of State to open a Kazakh theater.
In 2003, he moved to the Ulan District House of Culture and opened the Ulan People's Theater. From 2003 to 2016, he worked as a director. In 2017, due to family circumstances, he moved to the Glubokoe District and, with the support of the head of the culture department, founded the Shugyla Youth Theater.
In 2018, he moved to the Borodulikha District, opened a children's theater and worked as a director. From August 2019 to March 2020, he served as director. In 2019, he founded the Karagayly ethno group, the Tamshy children's theater, and the Sezim vocal group.
He worked as a director in 2020–2023. Since 2023, he has been working as a music director. Father of five children.

In the play "Kunanbai" by T. Zhurtbayev, he played the role of Tusuphan - a mute fortune teller, and became a laureate of the republican competition.
