Sarsembayeva Dana Amangeldiyzy

Sarsembayeva Dana Amangeldiyzy – a performer of the instrument (kobyz) was born on January 1, 1972 in the village of Karaul, Abai district, former Semey region.
She studied at the Abai district children's music school in the kobyz class and graduated with honors. Since her student days, she was an artistic child, and her first step into the world of art was with the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble, which was founded on the soil of the Great Abai and whose fame has traveled far and wide.
From 1991 to 1995, she studied at the folk instruments department of the Birzhan Sal music school in Kokshetau, graduating with a degree in kobyz class teacher and orchestra artist.
From 1989 to 1991, she was a kobyz class teacher at the Abai district children's music school, and in 1995, after graduating from a specialized educational institution, she taught talented students at this school.
Since 1999, he has been working as the head of the methodological office of the municipal state-owned enterprise "Abay District House of Culture". In addition, he is the pride of our district, a musician-kobyz player of the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble, which is famous throughout the republic. A truly creative person who is constantly searching and working hard. In the period from 2002 to 2019, he performed as part of the "Chingistau" folklore ensemble and the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble at the regional competition of amateur artists. In 2010-2015, he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the East Kazakhstan Regional Department of Culture for his excellent performance as part of the "Tugan el-altyn besigym" campaign organized by the regional department of culture.
In 2008, as part of the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble, he performed in the cities of the district of our republic and on behalf of the East Kazakhstan region at the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Astana.
In 2011, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Department of Culture of the East Kazakhstan Region for his contribution to the development of culture and art of the East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2012, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble, he was awarded the "Certificate of Honor" of the regional akim for his contribution to the development of culture and art.
In 2014, he was awarded the "Zhym Manay-2014" certificate under the national business rating program.
In 2016, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the "Excellence in the Cultural Sector" badge of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020, he was awarded the "100 Years of the Trade Union" commemorative medal of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 21, 2021, on the Day of Culture and Arts Workers, he was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the district akim for his contribution to the development of culture and art of the region, for his fruitful work in the field of providing cultural services to the population as a qualified specialist, for organizing artists and uniting them in one cause.
On the occasion of the Republic Day in 2022, he was awarded the "Gratuite of Honor" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his distinguished work, significant contribution and active activity in the sustainable development and prosperity of the cultural sector.
In 2023, he was awarded the "Labor Glory" badge of the "Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Information Workers" Public Association.
