Akhmetkhan Samazhanovich Alpysbayev

Graduated from the M. Tolebayev Music School in Semey, the Al-Farabi Pedagogical and Cultural Institute in Shymkent. He was a teacher at the Shubartau district children's music school, director of the district house of culture, and created the "Shubartau sazy" Kazakh folk instrument orchestra. Since 1994, he has worked at the Abai secondary school in Urzhar district, as the leader of the "Konyl tolkyn" folk instrument orchestra of the district house of culture. He was awarded the II and III All-Union Festival of Folk Art, the "For Outstanding Achievements" awards of the USSR Ministry of Culture, the Asset Beiseuov Prize, and in 2010 he was awarded the prize of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region. He is the author of about 80 songs for children and youth. A collection of songs entitled "My Country is My Sunshine" was published.
