Daukenova Gulnar Zhumayevna - kuish, composer, singer. Born on September 16, 1961 in the village of Makanshi, Urzhar district, East Kazakhstan region. She studied at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Music School in Almaty, the Kazakh State Kurmangazy Conservatory. She has worked fruitfully in the Kazakh State Kurmangazy Folk Instrument Orchestra for 25 years. She is the author of the popular kuish "Zhasai ber, Kazakhstanym" and more than 30 songs that have taken a firm place in the hearts of the public, such as "Sagyndym sagym ygellar", "Kairan vaymt", "Appak karlar", "Kosh endi kosh bol, kuren kuz". Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the "Kurmet" Order, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Citizen of the Urzhar district of East Kazakhstan region.
