Kailash Baymakovich

Kailash Baymakovich was born on January 12, 1950 in the village of Bolshaya Vladimirovka, Beskaragay district, Semipalatinsk region. He is a highly educated art teacher. He is a visual culture worker, an amateur composer, and a musician.


After graduating from high school, he served in the Soviet Army from 1969 to 1971.


He devoted 40 years of his life to the development of the culture of the Beskaragay district.


In 1979, he graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute.


Since 1975, he has held the positions of art director, instructor of the culture department, and director of the house of culture. In the 70s and 80s, cultural and educational work in the district also experienced stagnation. At that time, 2 district libraries, 1 house of culture, 20 village libraries, and 6 auto clubs operated in the district.


From 1993 to 2011, he served as the head of the Beskaragai district culture department.


From 2011 to 2016, he served as the director of the Beskaragai district art school.


During his work, he led a wind orchestra, choir, vocal-instrumental ensemble, vocal groups, soloists, etc.


Kailash Nurgazin is a talented local composer, cultural figure. The author of more than 70 musical works. Laureate of the All-Union Competition of Art Lovers, his simple and versatile, deeply meaningful songs will remain popular and beloved among our fellow countrymen. For every Beskaragai resident, K. Nurgazin's original song "Beskaragai" is very dear. The song has become a symbolic anthem of the district, known to everyone, young and old.


The composer's songs are diverse in content, form, and manner of performance. Among them are the most famous patriotic songs "My East Kazakhstan", "Native Land", "Good Morning, My Kazakhstan", about motherhood "Mother, Mother", "Ballad about Mother", "Ruki materi", about nature "Nad Semipalatinskom dozhd", "Beremukha belaya", "Siniy vecher", soulful "Shygys kyzy", "Dombra", "Prozreniye" and many others.


His composing activity was in harmony with artistic education. Kailash Nurgazin is also the author of the district logo, in which the artist skillfully depicted the main natural resources of the Beskaragai district: pine forests and the Irtysh River and the grain fields of Balapan.


Nurgazin Kailash Baymakovich was awarded many certificates, diplomas and letters of gratitude, was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Beskaragai district".


Kailash Nurgazin, who has devoted more than 40 years to the development of the culture of the Beskaragai district, headed the district House of Culture for many years.
