Born on July 27, 1948 in the village of Begen, Beskaragay district, Semipalatinsk region.


Graduated from the History Department of the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute (1969) with a degree in history teacher; from the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory (1980) with a degree in music; from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (1982).


In 1969-1973 - a teacher at the M. Auezov Semipalatinsk Pedagogical College.


Since 1983 - a teacher, senior lecturer at the Kurmangazy Almaty State Conservatory.


In 1987-1988 - director of the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.


Since 1990 - general director of the "Voice of Asia" international competition.


Since 1992 - president of the Kazakh branch of the "World through Culture" international association.


Since 1995 - President of the International Foundation "Spiritual Harmony Congress".


Since 1998 - Deputy Akim of Astana.


Since October 2004 - Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the 3rd convocation, nominated for constituency No. 2 of Astana.


Since 2007 - Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Committee on Socio-Cultural Development.


Creativity


Author of 2 symphonies, 2 operas, 2 poetry collections, musical comedies, chamber works, music for films, performances, romances, songs.


Father - Nurseitov Mukhamedzhan. Mother - Zabieva Sapura.


Married. Spouse - Usenbayeva Nurzhamal Pernebekovna (born 1958). Daughters - Mukhamedzhanova Zhanna (born 1972), Mukhamedzhanova Kuralai (born 1981), Mukhamedzhanova Karlygash (born 1992); son - Mukhamedzhanova Dauren (born 1983).


Professor at the Academy of Music and Art History (since 2000).


President of the Kazakh branch of the International Association "World through Culture" (since 1992), President of the International Foundation "Spiritual Harmony Congress" (since 1995).


President of the Republican Karate Federation "Shinkyokushinkai" (since 2005), President of the Republican Federation of Pyrotechnicians (since 2007).
