Medet Tursynbaevich Salykov was born in the Tarbagatai village of the Ayagoz district in the East Kazakhstan region and is recognized as a prominent performer who has made significant contributions to the art of singing in Kazakhstan.

From 1992 to 1996, he studied at the Mukhan Tolebaev Musical College, acquiring musical education. From 1996 to 2000, he received higher musical education at the Kurmangazy State Conservatory.
