Medet Muhamedsadikovich Chotabaev was born on October 30, 1981, in the city of Semey, currently in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He graduated from the M. Tulebaev Musical College (Semey) and then obtained higher education in "Solo Singing" at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

He also enhanced his professional vocal skills at the Renata Tebaldi and Mario del Monaco Academy (Italy, Pesaro).

Medet Chotabaev is a renowned opera tenor performer in Kazakhstan. He masterfully performs leading roles in various operas and showcases national and world musical repertoire at a high level.

— Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.

— Laureate and prizewinner of many international vocal competitions, including the Glinka International Competition (Moscow), "Art of the 21st Century" (Finland), and other competitions where he has won awards.
