Evgeny Viktorovich Sukhov. 1950-2019

Born into a family of professional artists Viktor Sukhov and Anna Nesina in Semey. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics of the N.K. Krupskaya Semey Pedagogical Institute (1975). Worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts of the N.K. Krupskaya Semey Pedagogical Institute; taught and served as the director of the No. 1 Children's Art School in Semey. Participant in city and regional exhibitions, including: the "Autumn Salon" reporting exhibitions of Semey artists (East Kazakhstan Region Nevzorov Family Museum of Visual Arts); the "My Kazakhstan" exhibition-competition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan (East Kazakhstan Region Nevzorov Family Museum of Visual Arts, 2006); the "My Homeland" exhibition of works by Semey artists (East Kazakhstan Region Nevzorov Family Museum of Visual Arts, 2012); the I, II, III exhibition-competitions of works by Semey artists (East Kazakhstan Region Nevzorov Family Museum of Visual Arts, 2013, 2014, 2016), and others. Since 2010, a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan. Author of landscapes and portraits. His parents (V. Sukhov and A. Nesina) are well-known artists in Semey, and his son Alexander Sukhov is a leading actor at the F.M. Dostoevsky Theater.
