Bekmukhanbetov Damir Bauyrzhanuly - instrumentalist (saz syrnay, piano, dauylpaz) was born on July 31, 1982 in the village of Karaul, Abai district, East Kazakhstan region. From 1988 to 1999, he studied at the Abai district secondary school lyceum. He has a higher education. He graduated from the Semey State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in "musical education".

Having chosen the field of art and the direction of his career, Damir's passion for art, which came from his mother's blood and mother's milk, began while studying at school. He was influenced by his teachers and his beloved mother, who guided him in the development of his artistic path. As a student, he actively participated in cultural events held at school.

In 2002, he began his career as a music producer at the municipal state-owned enterprise "Abay District Culture House" in the Abay district of the East Kazakhstan region, and since 2008 he has been working as a music director of the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble.

In 2011, he participated in the "Moldyr Bulaktan" family creative festival held in Ust-Kamenogorsk with his family pop ensemble and was awarded a diploma from the regional akim in the nomination "High performing skills on an instrument". He became the leader of the "Sazsyrnay" ensemble.

In 2012-2015, he was awarded a letter of gratitude from the district akim for his contribution to the development of culture and art in the region.

In 2012, he became the leader of the ethno-folklore ensemble.

In 2016 On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for his achievements in the spiritual and social development of the Abay district and his contribution to the field of culture and art, he was awarded the nomination "Outstanding in the field of culture" by the district akim. In 2018, he became the leader of the vocal-instrumental ensemble.

A cultural worker with many years of service to the culture of the district, for his great work in educating young people in art, spiritually nourishing the people, and bringing national art to the future, Bekmukhanbetov Damir Bauyrzhanuly, the music director of the "Kalamkas" folk song and dance ensemble of the "Abay District House of Culture" KMCC, was awarded the title of "Outstanding in the field of culture" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, letters of gratitude and certificates of honor from the district akim.
