Born on February 28, 1938, in Semey (currently Semey city), East Kazakhstan region. Graduated from the State University. According to S. M. Kirov's (now KazNU) opinion, he specialized in "Journalism" at Al-Farabi. Worked as a livestock herder at the "Skotoimport" Semey office, a courier for the editorial office of "Priirtyshskaya Pravda" newspaper, a printer, typesetter, layout designer, director of the No. 16 regional printing house, technical editor, literary worker in the industrial-transport department of "Semey Pravda" newspaper, head of the city employment department, director of the Semey Regional Historical and Local History Museum, director of the Semey Regional Philharmonic. He was the deputy secretary of the editorial office of "Semey Tany" newspaper. Since January 1, 1998, he has served as the president of the Republican Abai Foundation. He has been awarded the medals "For the Development of Virgin Lands," "Veteran of Labor," and "50 Years of Virgin Lands." He has been honored with the titles "Honored Worker of Kazakhstan" (1998), "Honorary Citizen of Abai District," and "Honorary Citizen of Semey City" (currently Semey city) (2002).
