TATIMEEVA NAZIPA RAIHANKYZY


Tatimeeva Nazipa Raikhankyzy was born on January 16, 1949 in Leninogorsk, East Kazakhstan region.


In 1972, she graduated from the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Library Science and Bibliography. She began her career in 1973 as the head of the reading room at the N.V. Gogol Regional Library (now named after Abai), and then until 1992 she was the head of the book preservation department.


The book preservation department concentrated the main literary collection covering all fields of knowledge, by types and types of publications. As the head of the department, Nazipa Raikhankyzy ensured the organization, preservation, effective placement and use of library collections, as well as the restoration and conservation of collections, and carried out work aimed at fully satisfying the needs of readers.


On her initiative, a bookkeeping catalog was created and maintained in the bookkeeping department, which allowed for accounting of the entire library collection. This catalog provided an accurate accounting of the book collection in all departments of the library.


On the initiative of Nazipa Raikhanovna, a collection of rare publications dating back to the 18th and early 20th centuries was allocated in the bookkeeping department. This collection is still considered the golden fund of the regional library.


In the 1980s, Tatimeeva Nazipa Raikhanovna became the chairwoman of the trade union committee of the regional library. During her years as the chairwoman of the trade union committee, she was recognized as an active trade union leader who was well versed in trade union work, regulatory and legislative acts, and skillfully used them in trade union activities.


Tatimeeva Nazipa Raikhanovna is a demanding, ambitious and well-intentioned person. She always sought to create a warm and respectful atmosphere in the team, and earned well-deserved respect and authority among her colleagues.
