Amrenova Gulmira Fatikhovna was born on September 14, 1961 in the village of Akzhal, Zharma district, Semipalatinsk region. In 1980, she graduated from the Abai Semipalatinsk Library College with a degree in "Library Studies". In 2007, she graduated from the M.O. Auezov Semipalatinsk University with a degree in "Fundamentals of History, Law and Economics".
She began her career in 1980 as a senior librarian of the service department at the regional youth library in Semey, and later worked as a methodologist. From February 3, 1982 to August 8, 1988, she worked as the head of the library of the party cabinet under the Lenin district party committee of Semey. From August 1988 to August 23, 1993, she worked as the head of the library of the Department of Public Education of Semey.
She has worked as a librarian in the service department at the Abai Regional Universal Library since February 1997. In 2013–2016, she served as a methodologist in the development department, and in 2016–2018, she served as deputy director of the Abai Regional Universal Library.
Gulmira Fatikhovna actively participated in the implementation of the “Rural Online Centers” project implemented within the framework of the UN Development Program. She trained regional librarians to work with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Reader, as well as to automate the library collection using the “IRBIS” program.
In 2018–2022, she participated in the “Abai World” book series project implemented by the library, contributing to the preservation of the cultural and literary heritage of talented writers of her native region and the promotion of the best works of local authors among young people.
During his years of service at the Abai Library, he was awarded letters of gratitude from the city and regional akims, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a Certificate of Honor from the Semey City Maslikhat for his significant contribution to the development of library work and book culture. He is also the owner of the “Veteran of Library Work” and “Master of Library Work” badges.
In 2018–2019, due to his relocation to Almaty, he worked as a methodologist at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 2019 to the present, he has been working as the head of the school library of the Almaty boarding school No. 1.
