Talakhan Erbolat Zhumabekovich is an instrumentalist of the Bibigul Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra.

Born on May 11, 1998 in Semey.

In 2017, he graduated from the Mukan Tolebayev Music School in Semey, majoring in dombra.

In 2021, he graduated from the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

Since 2021, he has been a teacher at the M. Tolebayev Music School and a dombra player of the Bibigul Folk Instruments Orchestra of the Amre Kashaubayev Philharmonic.

Achievements

1. In 2017, he took 3rd place in the IX Republican Minor Olympiad Competition.

2. In 2018, he became a Diplomat in the Dombra Players Competition dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Tolegen Mombekov

3. In 2020. In the framework of the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayuly, he was awarded the title of 2nd degree laureate at the International Dombra Competition "Kulaktan kiri, boydy alar".

4. In 2022, he was awarded the title of Diplomat at the Republican "Sheptpe kuy" competition, organized by the Kazakh National Folk Instrument Orchestra named after Kurmangazy with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. In 2023, he was awarded the Grand Prize at the Republican Kuy Competition "Tartu" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Kuy-composer Kozheke Nazaruly, organized with the support of the Almaty Region Akimat.

6. In 2024, he was awarded the title of 3rd degree laureate at the 1st Republican "Zhastyk Shak" dombra competition, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR, the master of the Kuy-composer Rustembek Omarov.

7. In 2025, he was awarded the title of Diplomat in the dombra nomination of the IX Republican Competition of Kui Performers on Folk Instruments named after Tattimbet Kazangapuly.
