Karandashova Marina Borisovna has been working at the State Institution "Abai Oblast State Archive" (formerly - the State Institution "Center for Documentation of Contemporary History") since 26.04.2000 as an archivist of the department of state accounting and ensuring the preservation of documents.

M. B. Karandashova, in accordance with her official duties, carries out work on the reception, storage, accounting of documents received in the approved archive warehouses, carries out rational placement of documents in the archive warehouses, cardboarding, creates topographic indexes, formalizes the issuance of files to researchers in the reading room and AOMA employees, as well as monitors their temporary use by organizations and their timely return, registers the submitted files, monitors the temperature-humidity and sanitary-hygienic regimes of document storage, fire safety in approved archive warehouses, checks the availability and physical condition of documents, analyzes and formalizes their results, carries out work on accounting for the movement of funds. Gives cases for restoration. Gives them to employees of the information department of the file and inventory for scanning and creating an insurance fund. Enters data into the databases "Topographic index by fund", "Passport of archive warehouses". Dusts boxes and files.

M. B. Karandashova carries out work on partial improvement of the catalogs of the first years and the analysis of the value of documents - recoding of cases, creating catalogs for cases, title pages.
