Tusunbayeva Bibitaliga Urazovna worked at the East Kazakhstan Region Archives and Documentation Department "Center for Documentation of Contemporary History" (Semey Regional State Archive) from 1982 to 1985 as the head of the scientific and reference apparatus and the department for the use of documents of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Under the leadership and direct participation of B.U. Tusunbayeva, a comprehensive information and propaganda work was carried out among the population. She carried out initiative information about the documents of the East Kazakhstan Region Archives and Documentation Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized scientific and practical conferences, meetings, exhibitions together with educational and cultural institutions, creative associations, national cultural centers, museums, libraries, and established creative contacts on the issues of organizing the use of archival documents.

B.U. Tusunbayeva systematically conducted thematic lectures for students of universities and colleges, school classes for students of urban and suburban schools, where documents from the National Archive Fund stored in the archives were widely used.

Tusunbayeva B.U. was engaged in the promotion of documents on the history of her native region on television, participated in thematic television shows of a local history nature, and regularly gave interviews to the media - newspapers and magazines of the regional, regional and republican levels.

B.U. Tusunbayeva actively participated in the implementation of the state program "Cultural Heritage" - she carried out federal and regional archival trips to the cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Omsk, Tomsk, Russia, where documents on the history of East Kazakhstan were identified.

B.U. Tusunbayeva combined her career with great public work. For many years she was the chairman of the trade union committee of the archive.
