Kenemoldin Muratbek Muftiuly

Kenemoldin Muratbek Muftiuly (08.08.1958) – a researcher of Alash, a writer-historian. Member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan (1993), holder of the "Best in Information Sector" badge of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2017).
Born on August 8, 1958, in the village of Bi Boranbay, Tarbagatai district, East Kazakhstan region. Graduated with honors from the Faculty of History and Law of Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute. Began his creative career in 1985 as a translator, literary worker, and head of department at the district newspaper "Dostyk tuy" ("Banner of Friendship") in Shar district, and from 1990 served as a senior literary worker, head of the socio-economic department, and deputy editor-in-chief at the newspaper "Semey tany."
From 2000 to 2016, he worked creatively at the "Democracy" newspaper, the Shakarim Studies Center of Semey State Pedagogical Institute, and the republican magazine "Abai." Since 2017, he has been the leading researcher at the Abai "Zhidebay-Borili" reserve-museum.
Published materials based on about forty archival documents on the topic of the Alash movement.
Author of several books including "Onyghy Olzhy," "Kyran Tagdyr," and "Anshy Zheken." An article about Sh. Ualikhanov was published in issue No. 01-02 of the "Mäñgi El" magazine of Eurasia University in 2016. His research works and biography are included in the "Shakarim" encyclopedia and the "Alash Movement" encyclopedic reference book.
