Isin Amantai Isauly

Isin Amantai Isayuly (15.12.1951) – a graduate of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy in 1974, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor.

Born on December 15, 1951, in the village of Kyzyltas, Abayraly district, Semey region. He studied at Kainar Secondary School from 1959 to 1963 and at Secondary School No. 25 in Almaty from 1963 to 1969.

In 1969, he entered the Semey Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya, graduating with honors in 1974 with a degree in "History and Pedagogy." From 1974 to 1979, he worked as a teacher at Secondary School No. 13 in Semey. From 1980 to 1982, he served as a research worker and head of a department at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Folk Creativity and Cultural Education of Semey region, as well as a correspondent for the regional newspaper "Semey Tany."

In 1983, he transitioned to a teaching position at the Semey Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya. In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Training at Moscow State Pedagogical Institute with a specialization in "History of the Middle Ages." From 1985 to 1987, he studied in the postgraduate program at Abai Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute. In 1988, he successfully defended his dissertation on the topic "The Relations between the Kazakh Khanate and the Nogai Horde in the 16th Century" to obtain the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences.

In 1988, he continued his work at the Semey State Pedagogical Institute. He is a research worker for the republican journal "Abai." He leads the archaeological and East Kazakhstan archaeological expeditions under the Historical and Socio-Political Research Scientific Center named after Academician Manash Kozybaev, operating within the Semey Pedagogical Institute. Together with archaeologists from the Archaeology Institute of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Archaeology" LLP, and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, he participated in archaeological excavations at the Tekebulak-1 Bronze Age burial site in Abai district from 1999 to 2002, the Sarykol Turkic era complex from 2003 to 2008, the Shilikti-2 Gold Barrow of the Early Iron Age in Zaisan district in 2003, the Oijailau Early Iron burial mound in Almaty region in 2008, and the Bazarshat Early Iron burial mounds in Tarbagatai district in 2009. A notable achievement in this field is the discovery of gold, silver, iron, and bronze items from the Turkic burial complex in Sarykol, which are currently preserved in the State Museum of Gold and Precious Metals of the Republic of Kazakhstan, benefiting the public, under his leadership on May 31, 2003.

He is the author of over 100 scientific works, including 3 monographs and 1 textbook.

Amantai Isayuly has been awarded honorary certificates from the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
