Biography

Seipollaev Garifulla Seituly was born in 1956 in the village of Aksuat, Abay region. I am a professional who graduated from the Almaty Music College named after M. Tchaikovsky. I have been working in the field of culture for more than 40 years. I am the artistic director and conductor of the Baganaly Sayatulekov Orchestra of Folk Instruments and a talented musician who has mastered the bass kobyz, cello, nar kobyz, syrnay, dombra, and shankobyz at a high level. I am considered an artist who has made an invaluable contribution to the creative growth and development of the folk orchestra of folk instruments in our region.

I have been using my many years of experience and knowledge to play folk instruments in the Orchestra of Folk Instruments, preserve and modernize performance traditions, glorify our national instruments, which are considered a source of antiquity, promote works and compositions of great cultural and educational value, and attract the public to the national musical culture of the peoples of Kazakhstan and abroad.

The repertoire of the folk instrument orchestra includes more than 200 works. I conducted the kuys of Kurmangazy, Dauletkerey, Dina and Turkesh, E. Brusilovsky's "Birzhan-Sara", S. Mukhamedzhanov's "Shattyk Otany", N. Tilendiyev's poem "Makhambet", K. Kumisbekov's "Shalkymas", A. Zhaimov's "Ereuli atka er salmay", works by foreign composers D. Shostakovich's "Waltz No. 2", P. Tchaikovsky, Zh. Bizet, folk kuys from the "Altai-Tarbagatai" kuy school "Bulgyn Susar", "Taukudiret", K. Abugazy's "Akku", K. Saporov's "Tarbagatai Tengri Tau", etc.

The B. Sayatulekov Orchestra of Folk Instruments, conducted by him, has won five times the regional inter-district competition of creative collectives "Tugan el - altyn besik". The orchestra has performed at many regional, regional, and republican events. The orchestra's concerts have been organized in the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, and Zaisan. In addition, I made an invaluable contribution to the creative development of the A. Magzumov folk song and dance ensemble "Sulu saz", ​​which was formed within the orchestra, and the "Babalar sazy" folk ethno ensemble. The ensemble performed in the People's Republic of China in 1993-2014, demonstrating my creative skills in the ensemble. In 2018, we performed in the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the "Babalar sazy" folk ethno ensemble.

I am a high-class specialist who has formed my own school in teaching young specialists national instruments and improving professional education.

In recognition of my creative work in the development of culture and art in our district, I was awarded the medal "For Contribution to the Economic and Social Development of the District." I was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the district akim and the regional department of culture, and in 2023, the "Veteran of Labor" badge.
