Amantay Alipov


Born on March 2, 1945 in the village of Kyzyl Kesik, Aksuat district. In 1972, he graduated from the M. Tolebayev Music School in Semey, majoring in dombra. From 1974 until his retirement, he worked as a teacher at the Urzhar district children's music school. Amantay Alipov created and contributed greatly to the development of the first Kazakh folk instrument orchestra in the Urzhar district. Currently, he is an active member of the Urzhar rural district veterans' ensemble. He is a multiple laureate of the All-Union Competition of Art Lovers, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education, and the Certificate of Honor of the regional and district akims. Amantay Alipov is the author of 3 kuis, about 30 songs, a famous kuish.
