Bertisov Zhiger Talgatovich

Bertisov Zhiger Talgatovich is a kuishi-performer, a master of arts.
Born on April 15, 1985 in the Urzhar district of the East Kazakhstan region.
From 1995 to 2002, he studied at the Erkegali Rakhmadiev Music School in the dombra class, studying with teachers Alemseitova Baktybaly Kabikizy and Kebispaeva Mariyash Khasengazykyna.
In 2003, he graduated from the Abai secondary school-lyceum, and in the same year entered the preparatory department of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. Here he was accepted into the class of Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, kuishi-professor Iskakov Bilal Alpanovich.
Since 2005, he has continued his education in the main department of the mentioned educational institution, graduating in 2009 with the specialty "Teacher and concert performer". During his studies, he learned the kui heritage of Toka Shomanuly, a representative of the Arka kui school, from the master of the schertpe kui Akhat Baibosynov.
In 2009–2011, he worked as an artist and solo performer of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Sazgen sazy".
In 2011–2014, he worked as a teacher at the dombra department of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.
Currently, he is conducting scientific work in Astana together with the famous kui player Akhat Baibosynov and educating young students.
As a kui player, he actively participates in traditional music festivals and republican television projects. In particular, he widely promotes kui art through the TV projects "Dala duman", "Kui tartys", "Gasyrlar ûni" on the national channel "Kazakhstan", as well as "Altybakan", "Gasyrlar pernesi" on the channel "Khabar".
In 2018, Zhiger Bertisov's textbook "Serpin" was published.
Laureate of the Tattimbet Kazangapuly, Sugir Aliuly, Tolegen Mombekov republican competitions.
In 2019, he was accepted into the membership of the "Union of Musicians". He was awarded letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
