The spiritual light of the Eastern region, the wise and renowned healer Yrgizbay Doskanuly was born in 1787 and passed away in 1850. According to folk legends, Yrgizbay Doskanuly sensed the approach of death and left a testament to his descendants: "Let my mausoleum be here, do not take my body to Kyndykty, bury me on that hill," and he pointed to that high place, where the current memorial complex is located. The saint also stated: "Bury me in a stone sarafan. Do not build grave structures on top of the mausoleum; this is a duty entrusted to future generations." In the early 20th century, the respected elder Shynybay Zhanibekuly saw the holy Yrgizbay in a dream and, with his words "My mausoleum is not fenced," he gave a signal to build a mausoleum for him. Obeying the will of the saint, Shynybay Zhanibekuly constructed it from stone. Later, in 1975, the esteemed elder Tagabaev personally installed the gravestone at the mausoleum of Kunambay Yrgizbay Doskanuly. The maintenance of the memorial complex, receiving visitors, and other works have been managed by Tagabaev Bolat Kunambayuly since 2001. The restoration of the mausoleum for Yrgizbay Doskanuly and the construction of a house for visitors began on October 7, 1990, started on October 14, and was completed on October 22. At that time, the mausoleum was clad with silicate bricks on the outside. Thanks to the support of Badelkhan Kamalkhanuly, the mausoleum was restored again in 2014. As the author of the restoration idea, Badelkhan Kamalkhanuly actively participated in the project. The main materials of the memorial complex are red and green granite stones, which were brought from the Bayanaul region, 1100 km away. The mausoleum was built in the Syrdarya tradition with two entrance chambers. In the last restoration, processed rectangular granite stones were used, with overall dimensions of 6.5 x 6.4 m. The mausoleum is dome-portal shaped, with two chambers, and the corners are oriented according to the directions. The entrance to the burial chamber is made from the right side (south). There are triangular windows on the eastern and western walls of the front chamber. The dimensions of the front chamber wall are 2.8 x 2.0 m. The dimensions of the sarcophagus are 3.0 x 1.2 m. The fronton made of red marble inscribed with "Saint-Yrgizbay" is approximately 3.4 m high. The wall height is 3 m, while the front two towers are 3.7 m, and the back two towers are 2.4 m. The total height of the mausoleum, including the dome pit, is 9.2 m. The mausoleum is decorated with multicolored stone cladding. The lower part is clad with green granite.
