The large dome complex for the hero Shakantay was built in 1993, that is, 200 years after his death, from white bricks. It used to be a stone grave. The famous composer Erkeghali Rakhmadiev made every effort and found the funds to erect the dome. To the left of the Shakantay grave, there is another grave a few steps higher. It is the grave of Matak, who was the cousin of Matay Shakantay and a heroic person.
