The monument was erected in 1975. It is dedicated to the heroes of the leather and fur association enterprise. The monument is located at the main facade of the factory and consists of a pedestal and a stele. The pedestal is set at a 45° angle in the plan of the monumental panel. Its dimensions are 2.0 × 2.63 × 0.3 m, made of reinforced concrete panels produced at the factory. Behind the pedestal, historical periods are depicted through monumental tools (sgraffito and reliefs). The height of the pedestal is 65 cm, cut with a beam, and it has the inscriptions "1918–1923" and "1941–1945" on its edge. In the middle part, the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the Civil War are eternally remembered around the star image. The height of the stele is 7 m, and its frame is made of metal.

The date of the monument is 1975. The art monument is located in front of the administrative building of one of the city's first enterprises, the leather and fur association, in the city of Semey. The monument is dedicated to the former workers of the enterprise who died during the Great Patriotic War and the Civil War.
