According to the plan, the round mausoleum is topped with a dome. From the outside, the upper part of the dome appears slightly stepped, which is not noticeable from the inside. The interior of the dome is close to a parabola. Kengirbay bi Zhandosuly Argin, a famous bi of the Tobykty, a visionary leader of the people, has had his name turned into the motto of his nation. He was born in 1735 on the banks of the Kengir River in South Kazakhstan. For many years, he led his people with justice and wisdom. When he passed away in 1825, he was buried on Samal Hill.
