The monument has a square shape, with the mausoleum measuring 4x4 m, and the dimensions including the outer enclosure are 14x10 m. Its shape is designed as a four-pitched roof, constructed from pink stone of the mountain. In the initial design, it was built in a rectangular volume of 7.7 m x 6.3 m with large stones reinforced with clay. After it was mainly destroyed, it was restored in the 1990s (in 1989).

Aqtamberdi Saryuly 1675, currently Karatau, 1768 currently East Kazakhstan region Abai district Zhurekadir settlement was a poet, commander, diplomat. He belonged to the Syban branch of the Karakerei clan of the Nayman tribe. In 1742, he was a representative at the oath-taking meeting of the leaders of the Middle Zhuz in Orenburg. From 1738 to 1752, he participated in almost all of the bloody conflicts between the Kazakhs and the Kalmyks. Aqtamberdi captured his autobiography in verses with great artistic power and harmonious style. Even his modest treasure is filled with aphorisms. "Kumbyr-kumbyr kisinetip," "O, old Bogenbai," "Do not play with me, my lady," "I tied the banner to the enemy," "My time was narrow," and other poems are filled with courage, kindness, and patriotic feelings. He warns the people against divisive behaviors.
