Barakbay batyr is a leader of the people who lived in the 18th century. According to legend, he died in Kalba village and was buried at the place indicated in his will. According to oral stories, the mausoleum was originally round. In the early 2000s, his descendants built a hexagonal mausoleum from red silicate bricks.
